Another Colorado Police Video: Silent, Flashing Red, Blue and Green - Case L-4

Watch onYouTube

LLE-UAP-PR004 is 1 minute 42 seconds of phone video submitted to AARO by a local law enforcement officer in Colorado. It was released in PURSUE Release 06 on 18 September 2026 alongside the October 2023 Colorado records (our Case L-1). AARO's summary says "the reporting officer described the phenomenon as 'silent' and as featuring 'red, blue, and green flashing lights.'"

AARO's video notes: the camera holds on an apparent light source; between 0:36 and 1:04, and again at 1:28, "an approaching vehicle influences the camera's automatic image-processing filters, including autofocus." AARO also blurred the bottom half of the first two seconds for privacy, and repeats its standard caution that phone autofocus and processing "may distort the apparent morphological and kinematic characteristics of distant subjects, particularly at high magnification."

A date discrepancy: the release lists this record as October 2023, but AARO's own description says the footage was recorded in January 2024. We use January 2024. The record does not say whether it is the same officer or the same object as the October 2023 report, and we don't assume so. The case is unresolved.

Presentation note: in our video, the clip is shown with the centre of the frame enlarged two times so the light is visible on a phone. Nothing else was changed - no brightening, sharpening or other edits.

Where It Happened

Full Transcript

January 2024. Colorado again. Another local law enforcement report reaches the Pentagon's UAP office, with a phone video.

The officer described it in the same words as the October report: silent, with red, blue and green flashing lights.

For more than a minute, the camera holds on the light. We've enlarged the centre of the frame so you can see it.

Here, a car approaches. Its lights throw off the phone's autofocus, and the light seems to swell and shift. That's the camera, not the object.

The release titles this clip October 2023. The Pentagon's own description says it was recorded in January 2024. We went with the description.
