The witness described the red as brilliant, a color they had never seen before, and said that at the center of the sphere burned what looked like a 'white plasma sun,' about the size of a basketball. They reached for their phone to film it.

FBI FD-302 — Red Sphere With a 'White Plasma Sun' (2026)
On February ██████, 2026, ██████, email address: ██████, was interviewed by ██████, ██████ and ██████ via videoconference on Microsoft Teams. Also present for the interview was ██████. After being advised of the identity of the interviewing agents and the nature of the interview, ██████ provided the following information:
██████ received a Bachelor's Degree in Economics & Finance from ██████. ██████ previously worked as ██████. ██████ then became an ██████. ██████ currently is the ██████.
██████ was at ██████ residence at ██████. ██████ returned home that night at approximately 9:15PM EST. As ██████ was pulling into their driveway, which slopes downhill towards their residence, ██████ noticed an intense bright light hovering below the tree line in the middle of their backyard. ██████ got out of ██████ vehicle and stared at the strange light for a few moments before reaching back into ██████ vehicle to retrieve ██████ phone so ██████ could take a video of what ██████ was seeing.
At the same time, ██████ was sitting inside expecting ██████ to arrive home. ██████ checked ██████ security camera and saw ██████ standing next to ██████ vehicle looking into the backyard. ██████ then went outside to join ██████ and see what ██████ was looking at. ██████ described the light as a red sphere that was about one meter in diameter. ██████ described the red color as being brilliant and beautiful, and that ██████ had never seen anything that color of red before. ██████ stated that inside the red sphere, at the center, there appeared to be what ██████ described as a "white plasma sun" about the size of a basketball.
As ██████ and ██████ watched, the orb UAP moved up and to their left. They then noticed there was a second, identical orb, hovering above the first one. The orbs then moved together towards the west above the tree line. ██████ stated that from the start of the observation to when the orbs traveled out of sight, they exhibited both a change in altitude and a change in direction. The orbs were silent and moved in a smooth motion. They moved in tandem as if they were flying in formation or were tethered together. As they moved out of sight, ██████ saw the orbs merge together into one orb, or were so close together that ██████ could only see one orb.
██████ and ██████ captured a video of the orbs beginning at the point when they were above the trees and moving away from their backyard. The video is contained as an attachment to this interview document.
A few weeks later, ██████ stated that ██████ saw several white orbs travel over ██████ house from the west to the east. These white orbs were traveling much higher in altitude than the prior red orbs. ██████ described them as appearing the size of a dime held at arm's length.

February 2026, in the northeastern United States. Someone pulled into their driveway around nine fifteen at night and saw an intense red light hovering below the treeline out back. The red, they said, was brilliant, a color they had never seen before. They reached for their phone to film it.
